We all experience hurts, habits and hangups. Initially, they can can seem subtle nuisances, but under further examination they can become extremely detrimental. Often we are lulled into thinking they are personal and private and only affect us as individuals, but if left unattended, they can spill over and have a damaging effect on the people around us, our society and our world!
It's easy to think they are the result of coincidence, genes, psychology, or simply someone else's fault, but when we fail to take these seven deadly sins seriously, we miss the opportunity of new life. We cannot mop up these messes on our own.
However, because God miraculously intervened through the cross and the Resurrection, we can overcome and be transformed into all God intends by the power of the Holy Spirit. If we were to examine our lives, our hearts and our character, what mess would we discover that's in need of God's cleaning solution?
Series starts April 15th, bring a friend!
