Mission
Looking for a place where you can make a difference? Mission and outreach are an integral part of who we are at New Life United Methodist Church.
We strive to make a difference in our community through wood delivery, hosting homeless guests for a week, sharing gifts and music with local nursing homes, a Mission Garden and more. We have been to the Gulf Coast several times in an effort to rebuild lives and homes that have been damaged by Hurricane Katrina. We have also been in mission to Alaska and Costa Rica.
All age groups from grade school to our older adults participate in the various mission projects offered by the church.

We have the exciting opportunity to offer a Children's Fair to the children in that community in conjunction with distributing the children's clothing to those in need. The vision is to offer face painting, games, food, and a smiling face to the children and families of McDowell County.
We will leave from church on Friday, April 20th in the late afternoon/early evening to drive to McDowell County, West Virginia. We will offer the Fair on Saturday, April 21st. We are making plans for some to come back on Saturday while others can stay until Sunday to worship with the community.
