Sunday Morning Discipleship
Trying to make sense of faith? Don't try to understand it all on your own. Our Sunday morning discipleship classes meet every Sunday between services from 9:45am to 10:45am to learn how to grow in our faith.
Preschool and elementary-aged children are taught Bible stories using art, cooking, and games. Youth use scripture and Bible-based material to discuss how God’s word relates to their own lives.
Small group Bible studies also meet during the week to discuss the matters where faith and life meet.
Classes
Come join us for one of our discipleship classes at 9:45am on Sunday mornings.
- Rock-Solid Bible Study :: Pre-K
The pre-school & kindergarten classes are using Cokebury Publishing's Rock-Solid Bible Study curriculum. The studies use movement, games, discussion and fun crafts to help children learn about key people and stories in the Bible. This class meets in room 103/105.
- Bridge-Builders Bible Study :: Elementary
During the coming months the younger and older elementary school classes will be learning different topical Bible stories focusing on Biblical principles, Bible navigation and prayer.
The 1st and 2nd grade elementary school classes meet in room 210. The 3rd, 4th and 5th grade elementary classes meet in room 208.
- Identity Bible Study :: Jr. High
What does it mean to call yourself a Christian? What does it really mean to live for Jesus? What are you supposed to believe and do? If it makes you different, then how does it change you? Members of this class will discuss this and other issues of Christian identity during the month of June as a direct follow-up to confirmation class. The Jr. High class meets in room 201/203.
- GodTalk Bible Study :: Sr. High
Who is God? What's so special about Him and why does that matter to me? How do I know that what the Bible says is reliable? How am I supposed to interpret what the Bible says about God? Will that interpretation really make any difference in the way I live my life? Sr. High class participants explore these and other questions regarding the nature of God through a study of the Old Testament prophets and a biblical look at current issues that youth face. The Sr. High class meets in room 201/203.
- Adults
The adult class meets in room 202/204 to go over the general topic for the week. Afterwards, the group will breakout into smaller groups for further discussion.
