"Be The Light" Challenge

Matthew 5:14-16: “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

For 25 years New Life has been shining bright in our community. We want to continue shining bright with all those that cross our paths so that they can feel the warmth of God's love shining bright on them.

To do that we have embarked on a "Be The Light" challenge. The Random Acts Of Kindness challenge is for every child, youth, and adult to complete 25 Random Acts Of Kindness between May 15 and November 1. We have some suggestions to help get you started but the possibilities are endless. No act is too small.

But wait, there's more. We want to hear all about how you choose your Random Act Of Kindness, how it affected the people you did it for, and/or how it affected you. Make a quick selfie video (remember the camera has to be held horizontally) to record your experience. Send us pictures of what you made or did. Or you can choose to write about your experience. The most important thing is to report back so we can celebrate what God is doing through you. All this information can be uploaded with the button below and will be shared in November at our 25th Anniversary Worship Service.
