Mission Day 4
Last day of a mission trip is always so difficult! Many of us did not sleep well last night as we were up thinking of all the work we really wanted to accomplish before leaving the work sight for the last time. However, God is good and provides endurance and many hands to get the job done!
Mr. Cecil's house was extremely extensive but the team worked extra hard to get all the painting done, debris picked up, flooring put back in, plumbing wired up and all the cabinets and appliances were put back in place. Phew!!!!! That was some major work.
Up at the church, much conduit was attached as the team continued along with their plan to help the outreach center have operational kitchen and bathrooms.
Last day for Kid's club means last games, crafts and stories. The real treat came at night as the children performed back where we are lodged this week. This was followed by the I Scream For Jesus ice cream store, gift shop and nail salon. All these small business were operated by the children from Kid's Club to teach entrepreneurial skills! It was great.
Big thank you to the Experience Mission leaders that have worked so hard this week to serve us. Your smiles, enthusiasm, dedication, hard work and hospitality were truly evident in all you do.
