I'm thankful for you...

In some way, if you are reading this, you are connected not only to New Life Church but to the new life Christ offers.

And for that I'm grateful!

Some of you were a part of dreaming up what it would be like to start a church in the Midlothian/Powhatan area. Some of you helped knock on doors to invite people to this new church that would do things in a little different way. Some of you put up and took down the chairs each week in the Roll-a-Rama and then in Watkins Elementary School because you knew it was worth it. Some of you helped make the move to a new building on Old Hundred Road in obedience to the promise that new homes would be built in the area. Some of you sat in one of the five adult Sunday school groups in the sanctuary and were convinced despite a recession we needed to expand the ministry center. Some of you drew on the beams and floors of both buildings before carpet and paint praying to God for the impact of ministry that would pour out from that epicenter. Some of you have done it again through the 2020 Vision Initiative by making sacrifices so that the next generation is ensured a place in the kingdom of God.

All along the way, there were those who were convinced God was doing something special through the ministry of New Life.

All along the way, there were those who were convicted that people need to expereince new life in Christ.

All along the way, there were those who were committed to being a blessing of God because they experienced new life offered through New Life.

So, I'm thankful for you.

Because, in some way, if you have read this far, you are not only connected to New Life Church but to the new life Christ offers...

...and there's more to come.

And for that I'm grateful!
