It’s not all about me. Intellectually, we may acknowledge that is the right view to hold. However, internally we may secretly wish it weren’t true. From the time we wake up in the morning to the time we go to bed, there is a desire that our day, our lives, and even this world be all about us. Yet, Christians believe our life is not our own; it is a gift from God to be lived for God. Jesus said things like “it’s in losing your life you will find it” and “I came not to be served but to serve.” He did things like touch the untouchables and pick up the servant’s towel to wash the feet of his closest friends. He put sacrificial love on display on the cross. He rose so that we might have the power to die to self and live for God & others.

Join us as we ask God to change our hearts to beat like that of Jesus...full of compassion followed by action for others.
