Water, water, everywhere!
Outdoor games during the summer are always better with water - right?!
I mean, the only problem people have with getting wet is when they don’t know it’s coming - right?!
That’s what Rick Wood and I thought several years ago when we had the awesome opportunity to lead outdoor games during a week of Vacation Bible School. We told the kids each night that they would get wet if they came the following night. We’re not sure if the kids forgot to tell their parents or were just fine with getting wet, but no one that we saw ever brought an extra set of clothes to change into afterward!
We had water baloon catapults. Water balloon sling shots. Water balloon tosses, relays and challenges - oh my!
Water! Water! Everywhere!
Take that and hype it up x10 and you’ve got WATER DAY for our second summer Saturday event on July 8 from 10am to 1pm.
Yes, there will be water balloons, water guns, water tables, water painting, snacks and drinks - oh my!
But what I’m looking forward to most is the 32’L x 18’W x 24’H WATER SLIDE! Oh yeah!
This is going to be so much fun, why would you want to keep it to yourself?! The more the merrier! So, go on and invite your friends, co-workers, guys and gals on the team, people down the street - invite them all - there’s going to be water, water, everywhere!
