Prayers Needed for Prayer Focus
Dear New Life Family,
2023 will soon be a memory and 2024 is coming fast. At New Life, we are going to spend the month of January focused on Prayer and we want YOU to play a part. As part of this very special journey through January, you will have the opportunity to receive a daily prayer via email or text and these prayers are going to be the prayers of your New Life Family.
We want you to be one of the people/families to share one of the prayers that will be shared with our New Life family during this time and this is your invitation to do so. Over the next couple of weeks, would you please spend time praying about how the Lord is asking you to pray and what to pray for? After you have spent time in prayer, we ask that you write a prayer and submit it to the team for potential use as one of the prayers sent to the New Life Family in January.
You may ask, what am I supposed to pray about? That is a great question, but there is not a lot of direction because we want the prayers to be yours and from you. There are not any right or wrong words, topics, or lengths. We are asking you to pray through this and let the words flow through you from the Holy Spirit.
By December 18, please write your prayer and email to jasonmabe75@gmail.com. Please note that if more prayers are received than we have days in January, not all submissions may be used. Please note if you would rather your name not be used and attributed to you.
Then, starting New Year’s Eve, check your inbox or phone for your daily prayer from your New Life Family (the delivery method sign up will open soon).
Please make plans to join us in person if possible or online every week starting January 7 as we journey through PRAYER: Uncommon Conversations in Common Places. No matter what kind of prayer life you have, this series will meet each of us where we are and help each of us grow.
